Cary Lee is a Seattle-based lyric tenor celebrated for his expressive performances and exceptional musicianship. Equally at home in opera, concert, and recital settings, he brings a commitment to storytelling and championing underrepresented composers.
Recent highlights include performances with Lowbrow Opera Collective (Carl, Sweets by Kate), Vashon Opera (chorus, Otello), and Puget Sound Concert Opera (Studio Artist, 2022-2024). As a concert soloist, Cary has appeared in Bach’s Nach dir, Herr and Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with Kirkland Choral Society at Benaroya Hall, and he performs in recitals featuring works like Schumann’s Dichterliebe and contemporary works.
Known for his sight-singing ability and versatility, Cary regularly collaborates with professional ensembles and serves as a soloist and section leader at First United Methodist Church of Seattle. Originally from Orlando, he holds a degree in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University.
